If you live near shopping and eating places, and you can get there on those slower roads, an LSV can be a primary way to get around.
Short, local trips
Dinner down the street. A neighborhood get-together. Halloween. The journey is the point — not a highway run.
Where it typically does not
Highways and fast roads
If the posted speed is over 35 mph, that is generally not LSV territory. Plan a route on the slower streets.
Every street is local
Posted speeds and local ordinances decide the rest. A street that looks right still depends on the sign and the local rules.

Life with an LSV
It is the journey, not the destination.
If you live near shopping and eating places, and you can get there on roads posted 35 mph and less, an LSV can be a primary way to get around. It is so much more fun to go out in an LSV than in a large vehicle. You are out in the open air. You wave and speak to your neighbors. Neighborhood get-togethers. Halloween trick-or-treating. The LSV in the driveway is the opposite of always rushing to get somewhere.
